Gregori Aminoff Prize Symposium 2023

The Gregori Aminoff Prize rewards documented, individual contributions in the field of crystallography, including areas concerned with the dynamics of the formation and determination of crystal structures.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded the Gregori Aminoff Prize for 2023 to Dr Olga Kennard “for pioneering work to establish molecular structure databases”.

Dr Kennard passed away on 2nd March 2023. She was the founding director of the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre. The centre hosts the first crystallographic database in the world, which is now the largest and has over a million unique molecular structures.
