The official Crafoord Prize Lectures in honour of the Crafoord Laureates 2020, 2021 and 2022.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded the 2020 Crafoord Prize in Mathematics to Enrico Bombieri, School of Mathematics, Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, USA, ”for outstanding and influential contributions in all the major areas of mathematics, particularly number theory, analysis and algebraic geometry”.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded the 2020 Crafoord Prize in Astronomy to Eugene N. Parker (1927-2022), University of Chicago, USA, ”for pioneering and fundamental studies of the solar wind and magnetic fields from stellar to galactic scales”. Nicola Fox, Science Mission Directorate, NASA Headquarters, USA, on behalf of the late Crafoord Laureate Eugene N. Parker,

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded the 2021 Crafoord Prize in Polyarthritis to Daniel L. Kastner, National Human Genome Research Institute, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, USA, ”for establishing the concept of autoinflammatory diseases”.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded the 2022 Crafoord Prize in Geosciences to Andrew H. Knoll, Harvard University, USA“for fundamental contributions to our understanding of the first three billion years of life on Earth and life’s interactions with the physical environment through time”.
