Seminar with 2021 Laureate in Economic Sciences

The Royal Swedish Academy och Sciences and the Institute for Social Research (SOFI) at Stockholm University invite to a seminar with the title

Perspectives on the Credibility Revolution in the Social Sciences

The 2021 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel celebrated the development of a new set of tools for causal inference. This “credibility revolution” has profoundly changed research in the social sciences but also opened up new opportunities for policy evaluation. In this seminar, Guido Imbens – recipient of the 2021 Prize – discusses aspects of the credibility revolution together with three Swedish economists with extensive experience from working in the intersection between research and policy.

The seminar will be held in English.
