The Class for geosciences at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the University of Gothenburg organise a workshop on extreme weather events in a warming world, 11-12 November 2019 at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. The workshop will present the state of scientific knowledge on extreme weather events in a warming world and is expected to inspire Swedish climate research community and to promote assessments of and researches on the subjects internationally. The workshop is for invited only. 

In connection to the workshop, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the University of Gothenburg welcome you to the open keynote lectures. No registration is needed but please note that the seating is limited
