At the General Meeting on 10 September Terence Tao, University of California, Los Angeles, was elected to the Academy’s Class for mathematics. Örjan Gustafsson, Stockholm University and H. John B. Birks, University of Bergen, was elected to the Academy’s Class for geosciences.
