Brain Tumor Plasticity

A growing body of evidence emphasizes the presence of significant intra-tumoral phenotypic diversity and plasticity within brain tumors. Inherent plasticity introduces an additional layer of intricacy to tumor dynamics, enabling adaptable responses of tumor cells during initiation, progression, and treatment evasion. In this meeting, we explore the pivotal role of brain tumor plasticity in shaping a heterogeneous tumor ecosystem, where diverse phenotypic states coexist, interact with each other, and with the evolving tumor microenvironment. The discussion encompasses how phenotypic heterogeneity and plasticity contribute to the development of therapeutic resistance, and the therapeutic potential of targeting molecular regulators that influence brain tumor heterogeneity and plasticity

This is free of charge event with lunch included in the official program.
