Hydro Power
“Energy from moving water” was the title of the Energy Committee´s water-power project. Hydropower´s major role as source of renewable energy, its unique capacity to quickly respond to fluctuating electricity demands, and its technical and economical development possibilities in different parts of the world are described in “Statements on Energy from Moving Water” together with social and environmental obstacles and constraints.
