Bioenergy
A comprehensive work analyzing the role of bioenergy in the energy system has been carried out jointly by the Energy Committee and the Environmental Committee. Uncertainties about the potential of primary biomass for energy purposes, the balance food-biofuels, the role of forestry, the production of energy carriers, electricity, heat and fuel are some topics dealt with. The “Report on Bioenergy” and the “Statements on Bioenergy” are results of this work.
